Support for the technological shift and the strengthening of digital skills
- Technological support tailored to the needs of organizations (Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- Donation or loan of digital equipment
- Technical and digital diagnosis
- Support for the implementation of digital strategies in organizations
- Training and workshops on digital skills for teams
Support for the promotion and visibility of members
- Media coverage of events (photo, video, online broadcast): free for one event per year per member, additional fees for additional events (subject to availability)
- Writing and distributing press releases
- Highlighting organizations in newsletters and displays (advertising their activities)
- Visibility via the Summit member directory on our website
- Publication of members' job offers on the Summit's channels
Support in mobilizing financial resources
- Support in strategic thinking assisted by an expert.
- Strategic monitoring and dissemination of relevant funding opportunities
- Funding Thursdays: individual support sessions upon request (application review, advice on preparing files, etc.). Book an appointment online.
- Funding may be available for certain initiatives (research projects, pilot projects, etc.)
- Connecting with potential financial partners / meetings with funders
- Specialized webinars: writing funding applications, reading financial statements, etc.
Strategic support for organizational growth
- Priority involvement in setting up thematic tables
- Selection of pilot sites for the implementation of structuring projects
- Occasional support for projects initiated by members
- Workshops and training in strategic and administrative governance
- Support for the implementation of digital transformation projects or the exploration of AI
Resource sharing and collective strengthening
- Reduce your costs through access to group purchasing: services (accounting, group insurance, car rental, etc.)

Anchoring community actions in research and analysis

- Technical and financial support for interventions within the evaluation framework

- Statistical analysis and production of thematic fact sheets

Requirements:
- General Assembly with democratic power
- Board of directors of at least 5 members
- Fully embrace the mission of the Afro Youth Summit
- Head office located in Quebec
Privileges:
- Right to vote in assemblies
- Eligibility for the board of directors
Associate Member
An organization serving Black communities with a democratic structure
Requirements:
- General Assembly with democratic control
- Board of directors of at least 5 members
- Payment of the annual membership fee
- Head office in Quebec
Privileges:
- Participation in activities
- access to exclusive services
Limitations:
- No voting rights at assemblies
- Ineligibility for the board of directors
Honorary member
Individual or organization that has rendered service to the corporation or demonstrated support for its objectives
Requirements:
- nomination by resolution of the general assembly
- Service rendered to the corporation
- Support shown for the objectives pursued
Privileges:
- participation in the corporation's activities
- Attendance at members' meetings
Limitations:
- No right to vote
- Ineligibility for the board of directors
Membership process

Submitting the application
Letter addressed to the President of the Afro Youth Summit and resolution of the board of directors
Formalization
Complete the official membership form and pay the membership fees.
Documentation
Gather and send the required documents (letters patent, resolutions, recommendations)
Evaluation meeting
Schedule an appointment with the team to present your motivation and membership application.

- Letter of recommendation from a member organization of the Afro Youth Summit (a member individual is also acceptable)
