The annual summit brings together, every year since 2017, researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, organization leaders, community leaders and citizens from Black Francophone and Anglophone communities, as well as political decision-makers.

A large-scale event that allows:

  • To share the experiences of Black communities
  • To co-create solutions to the major challenges encountered
  • To identify avenues and priorities for action for our communities
  • The leaders of the Afro Youth Summit are asked to report on the projects and initiatives implemented.

This 7th edition was held from January 26-28, 2024 to the Citizen's House, 25 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec.

Conferences, workshops, brainstorming sessions and networking opportunities: the Summit offered a program rich in discoveries and emotions, bringing together leaders committed to the development of Black communities.
